BREATHER VALVES

                        BREATHER VALVES

Pressure and Vacuum Relief Valves have been designed for atmospheric and low Pressure Storage Tanks Containing volatile products to maintain the tank Pressure and Vacuum with in pre-determined, thus prevent the tanks from any disaster like explosion due to increase of Tank Pressure and implosion due to decrease in Vacuum during thermal cycling or while filling or emptying the storage tanks. PV Valves assists to conserve the fluid by reducing the evaporation loss and provide clean environment. PII PV Valve does not allow the vapour to go out until the tanks pressure reaches the preset pressure. As soon as tank pressure increases above the pre-set pressure the pressure pallet will lift up and release the excess pressure. If vacuum inside the tank goes down to the preset vacuum, the atmospheric air lifts the vacuum pallet and enters in to the tank, thus release the vacuum. PII PV Valve should be selected in accordance with API 2000 Standards or other applicable standards. PII / PV Valves of different sizes have been successfully tested and certified as per API- 2000 S for flow capacity by the competent Authority/Institute of India. PV Valves have been designed for maximum Flow Capacity and minimum leakage. PV Valves are available in different sizes i.e. 1" to 12" (25 mm to 300 mm) in different materials of construction.

Body & Cover-Cast Iron/Aluminium/Cast Steel/SS-304 Pressure & Vacuum Pallets- SS-304/SS-316/ Aluminium Other Internal - SS-304/SS-316/ Aluminium Diaphragm - PTFE Nuts & Bolts- HT Steel/ASTM Bird Screen- S.S. Weather Hood- Mild Steel / Aluminium / Tin Dead Weight- M.S. Other materials also available on request.

Installation/Easy Inspection/Maintenance Pressure & Vacuum Relief Valves (Breather Valves) are provided with Flanged Connection as per ANSI / ISI or other Standards for installing either directly on the top of the tank or on top of the Flame Arrestors. 1- Remove the Four nuts on the top and remove the circular hood. 2- Put the Pressure Pallet on Seat (Ring) properly. Thereafter, place the hood & cover and then tighten the nuts. 3- Remove 4 bolts on the top of body (Vacuum) and put Vacuum Pallet on the Seat (Ring) properly. Thereafter, place the body cover and tighten the bolts. It is very easy to do Inspection or Maintenance of PII / PV Valves while simply removing the Four Nuts and circular Hood which provides easy access to the Pressure Pallet, Diaphragm and seat. Then after removing the Pressure Valves, the Vacuum Valves seats can be inspected while raising the Vacuum Pallet, otherwise remove the bolts of the Vacuum Cover and you have access to the Vacuum. Re - assembly is equally quick and easy. CAUTION PII Guarantee stands for its PV Valves (Breather Valves), PRVS & VRVS only if genuine spare parts of PII are used. Note For Installing Breather Valves on Flame Arrestor, Please put CAF Gasket on top of the Flame Arrestor (Flange) and then put Breather Valve on it (Flange to Flange) and tighten the nut bolts with washers, and finally your Flame Arrestor is ready with Breather Valve
